Just read your story in the Pilot on Wes. Wes and Nicole lived in my neighborhood. A community filled with pilots, young families, NATO personnel and retirees. Wes was one of the good-guys! Your article was wonderful. On the day of his funeral the neighborhood didn’t know what to do (how many casseroles does one family need?) … so a retired Navy Captain, his wife and and I decorated the front of the neighborhood with American Flags. Many others -too many to mentioned joined us in this tribute. As we pulled into the neighborhood and out of the neighborhood the following week the tribute stood – as a reminder – of our wonderful Wes! (I have a photo if you’d like). Again, thanks for the article.
